We would love to introduce you to a wonderful pup named Jade. Jade is a wonderful chocolate lab-Weimaraner cross and she weighs 80lbs. Up to date on all shots and spayed. Ideally, she would love to be with someone who is home most of the time. She loves the outside, swimming, playing fetch and running! She is great on and off the leash, loves kids and cuddles. She is fully house trained and loves to ride in the car and is super well behaved while traveling. Her ability to live with cats is unknown. She has had 3 other house mates in our home and gets along well with them a small male pitty (4yrs old), a small female coon dog (6 yrs old) and a large staffordshire terrier named Dixie (9 yrs old). Jade can no longer stay with us because her older sister Dixie got her tooth caught in Jade’s collar and broke her jaw and now because Dixie was so injured by the tooth accident, she has extreme anxiety and fear of Jade. I will stress this was not Jade’s fault. However, the two can no longer be together and are our home is not capable of keeping them safely apart. The pictures with the large black dog is/was her best friend Dixie who is the dog who was injured. There is one other thing about Jade that all possible owners must know…she CANNOT be crated! She can be confined to a room without issue, but crates terrify her, and she spent way too much of her young life in one. She will destroy any crate you put her in a total panic. She is great when placed in a room and can be alone in that room most of a day without any issue and will probably just nap on the bed till you get home. She does like to be on couches and beds and snuggle with her wooby that she is willing to share with others but does tend to move it about the house with her. We will require a Veterinarian reference, 3 personal references not related to you and a letter from your landlord if you are renting. There is a $200 adoption fee and you will be required to have an interview either with myself or Justice for Dogs. You can contact me my name is Kay at 802-334-5433 or email at ctrtherapy3@gmail.com
